The color-coded revision exercise was very useful to me. It helped me to visualize more clearly and to find some errors in my writing. I observed every single detail and highlighted it with different colors which allowed me to understand the areas needed improvement. This exercise pointed out all important texts in different colors and that helped me to focus on each text easily. At first, it felt a bit difficult to highlight every part of my essay, but as I worked over it, I found this method really helpful as it will help to make my second draft more transparent.
One main insight I achieved was that my concepts were strong, but some sentences needed to be more obvious. I also noticed that some sentences were unnecessary and repeated in different ways. The color helped me focus on weak spots and instead of feeling demotivated, I felt great to fix them. Seeing my work in different colors helped me figure out which needed to be excluded or changed and how to make my writing smoother and more effective.
For my final draft, the main thing I will do is revise the organization and the clarity of my writing. I want to make sure each paragraph has a smooth transition and a clear thesis statement.
I will also work on beginning and ending so that my main idea stands out right to make sense. Mainly, I want my emotions to come through more, so the reader can truly understand what I went through and how I overcame it.
For my next assignment, I want to focus on three things:
- Thesis statement – I want to create a solid opening so that the rest of the sentences follow exactly the same thing I want to focus on. I want to start my essays with more engaging and more see-through sentences.
 - Writing with more emotion – I want my words to feel more powerful and personal. I will try to convey my feelings more precisely through my writing.
 - Strong connections between ideas – I will focus on the transitions in my writing which will make my essay more easier to follow.

This revision process has been an amazing exercise which was both eye-opening and emotional. It helped me see my strong and weak points as a writer. I now feel more confident about improving my final draft and applying what I have learned to future assignments.
